DeepNet is based on the Internet Explorer 7 Browser.
Clearing Cache / History

From the Tools menu, Choose Clean Up.
You can clear several different records, most importantly Cookies, History, and Temporary Internet Files
To clear the selected item, just click on it.
Changing what the browser is allowed to run/display (images, flash, pop-ups)


From the Tools menu,
You can either use the Web browser Options to easily check mark various criteria
or you can toggle the individual items from the Tools menu in each category, (Adverts Killer, Content Filter, etc.)
To toggle the item on or off, simply click on it
Be advised that if you turn one of these features off, there may be some websites that you are unable to view properly

In the Popup Killer option you can enable or disable popups or allow them for specific websites.

Choose Content Control
You can enable or disable various components of a website to run
Many people turn these features off to help protect their computer from viruses
Be advised that if you turn one of these features off, there may be some websites that you are unable to view properly
Browser Security

From the Tools menu,
Choose AutoLogin
If you are sharing the computer, you may want to disable auto login
If you select password manager

From here you can select the website you have saved your log in for and delete, change or view the password in plain text

From the Tools menu,
Choose Internet Options

Choose the tab marked Security
Here you can restrict sites or add sites that you trust
If you click Custom Level, you'll get:

Here you can enable / disable / or set a prompt to allow for certain scripts on websites to run
Disabling scripts helps protect your computer from possible viruses, but may prevent you from view websites that do run the scripts as part of the page

Choose the tab marked Privacy
This allows you to choose what level of cookies you want to accept
You can also affect your Pop-up blocker here.

Choose the tab marked Content
This allows you to choose what website can be surfed to
You can also affect your Auto-Complete forms and passwords here. Click Settings in the Auto complete section

If you share your computer with someone else/ use a public computer, you may not want your personal information and passwords stored
Changing the home page

From the Tools menu,
Choose Internet Options

Viewing the Source Code of a file

From the View menu,
Choose Source
The system will autolaunch your default text viewing program with the source code for the website
Favorite pages/ Bookmarks
From the Favorites menu, you can view all of your favoritesAdd to your favorites
Or organize your favorites

In the organization area, you can rename things
Move them into folders
Create new folders
And delete old bookmarks that you no longer need
