     NetCaptor is based on Internet Explorer.

Clearing Cache / History / Auto Complete Passwords

     From the Tools menu, Choose Clean Up.
Click on the items you wish to clear from the system

Changing what the browser is allowed to run/display (images, flash, pop-ups)

     From the Tools menu,
Choose Media Loading
You can choose what to allow and what to block
This can help keep your computer from being infected with a virus
Please be aware that blocking things may affect your ability to view websites


     From the Security menu,
Scripting and Active X are also items that can be enabled, blocked, or prompt you to allow on an individual basis

     In Security

You can choose specific cookie settings
and enable the popup blocker

You can manage auto complete information
Clicking on settings....


     This will allow you to clear private passwords and information filled in on web forms
If you share or use a public computer, it is a good idea to delete this information


     In Advanced
You can refine some of your security settings such as SSL, phishing filters and multiple other warnings

Changing the home page

     From the Tools menu,
Choose Internet Options


     In General
You can type in the exact URL you want for your home page
You can choose to use the current page in your active browsing window

Viewing the Source Code of a file

     From the View menu,
Choose Source
The system will autolaunch a new window with the source code for the website


     From the View menu,
Choose Auto Refresh
This allows you to have the system auto refresh a page to ensure up to date information on pages you may leave open

Favorite pages/ Bookmarks

     From the Favorites menu, you can view all of your favorites
Add to your favorites
Or organize your favorites


     In the organization area, you can rename things
Move them into folders
Create new folders
And delete old bookmarks that you no longer need

A few options and Features

     NetCaptor will autolaunch your default email system if you want to share something
You can also choose to save it to your desktop or add it to a Group session


     Since this is a tabbed browsing system,
you can save groups of web pages that are usually opened in conjunction with each other
to open them all at once as a group


     NetCaptor can autolaunch your default email system so you can read or send email
You can also choose to open any email program on your computer easily even if it's not your default system
