Clearing Cache and History

From the Edit menu,
Choose Preferences

In Advanced,
Choose Cache
Here you can clear cached information

In the Tasks Menu,
Choose Tools
Choose History


In the Edit Menu,
Choose Delete to delete history
Changing what the browser is allowed to run/display (images, flash, pop-ups)

From the Edit menu,
Choose Preferences

In Privacy and Settings,
Choose Cookies
Here you can enable or disable cookies

In Privacy and Settings,
Choose Images
Here you can enable or disable the ability for images to load

In Advanced,
You can choose to block or allow java script to run
Browser Security

From the Edit menu,
Choose View Saved Data

You can either fill in the area so that netscape can auto enter the information on forms you have to fill out online
Or you can erase the information that netscape has saved from forms you filled out.
If you share or use a public computer, it is a good idea to delete this information

From the Edit menu,
Choose Preferences

In Privacy and Settings,
Choose Forms
Here you can choose if the system should save information you enter into forms online

In Privacy and Settings,
Choose Web Passwords
Here you can choose if the system should save passwords you use to access web pages
If you click View Stored Passwords, you can see the passwords you have stored

In Privacy and Settings,
Choose Master Passwords
Here you can set Netscape up to require a password or just to require a password when sensitive data such as a stored password is being used
Changing the home page

From the Edit menu,
Choose Preferences

In Navigator
You can type in the exact URL you want for your home page
You can choose to use the current page in your active browsing window
Viewing the Source Code of a file

From the View menu,
Choose Source
The system will autolaunch a new window with the source code for the website
Favorite pages/ Bookmarks

From the bookmarks menu, you can view all of your favorites
Add to your favorites
Or organize your favorites

In the Manage area, you can rename things
Move them into folders
Create new folders
And delete old bookmarks that you no longer need

In the Manage area, from the file menu
you can share or create back ups of your bookmarks by importing or exporting
