Touchnet is based on the Internet Explorer Browser.
Clearing Cache / History / Auto Complete Passwords

From the Tools menu, Choose Cleaner
You can clear several different records, most importantly Cookies, History, Temporary Internet Files, and Auto Complete Passwords
To clear the selected item, just click on it.
Changing what the browser is allowed to run/display (images, flash, pop-ups)

From the Options menu,
In Media Loading
You can choose to allow or disallow ceratin items to be displayed by the browser
To toggle the item on or off, simply click on it
Be advised that if you turn one of these features off, there may be some websites that you are unable to view properly
Browser Security

From the Tools menu,
Choose Internet Options

Choose the tab marked Security
Here you can restrict sites or add sites that you trust
If you click Custom Level, you'll get:

Here you can enable / disable / or set a prompt to allow for certain scripts on websites to run
Disabling scripts helps protect your computer from possible viruses, but may prevent you from view websites that do run the scripts as part of the page

Choose the tab marked Privacy
This allows you to choose what level of cookies you want to accept
You can also affect your Pop-up blocker here.

Choose the tab marked Content
This allows you to choose what website can be surfed to
You can also affect your Auto-Complete forms and passwords here. Click Settings in the Auto complete section

If you share your computer with someone else/ use a public computer, you may not want your personal information and passwords stored
Changing the home page

To set the home page
From the Options menu, choose Internet Options

In General
You can type in the exact URL you want for your home page in the top area
You can choose to use either the current page in your active browsing window or a blank page
Viewing the Source Code of a file

From the View menu,
Choose View Source
The system will open the source code for the website
Favorite pages/ Bookmarks

From the Favorites menu, you can view all of your favorites
Add to your favorites
Or organize your favorites

In the organization area, you can rename things
Move them into folders
Create new folders
And delete old bookmarks that you no longer need

To share web pages, you can launch your default email client from here

You dont have to use your default email client
Choose any that you have and the system will launch the application
It will also launch other systems
such as any HTML editors on your computer like notepad, notepad++, dreamweaver and any other HTML editing program
