Making Changes to an already Existing Email Account

Creating a New Email Account

If you have never created an email account in eMailaya, the User Configuration will autolaunch. See below
If you already have an email account setup, to add another
From the mailbox icon choose Create New Account

Account Name can be anything you want it to be
Email should be your entire email address
Your Name can be anything you want it to be
Enter your email password
Choose your mail provider
Choose the type of email account. POP3 or IMAP
Enter the Incoming (POP3) mail server your email provider lists
Enter the Outgoing(SMTP) mail server your email provider lists
Username will depend on your email provider. Most email providers use the full email address as the username

In Activity
Choose how often the system should check for email
You can password protect your account settings here if you want to
In POP3/IMAP
You can make changes to the port
In SMTP
You can make changes to the port, the email account and the email password
Click on the green check mark at the bottom. The system will test your email account. This may take a little while.
Making Changes to an already existing email account
To make changes to an existing email account
From the mailbox icon, choose Properties, then choose the email account.
(Since this only has 1 email account called "my account" you only see the option "my account" available)

You can make changes to the port, the email account and the email password
Mail Features
From the letter icon, choose general
Here you can set the spam filters and check if you are being blocked as a spammer
In the toolbox area, there are some great features.
Check your mail statistics, Use a calendar, Create a back up of your email
Easily check for the newest version
From the mailbox Icon, choose More. Then click on Check Version.
