Creating a New Email Account

If you have never set up an email account, the account wizard will auto start-see next image.
If you have an account already set up and want to add a new account, choose New Account from the Mailbox menu

Email address is your full email address
Password is your email account password
Account often times may need to be your entire email address
Sender's name can be whatever you want it to be
Click Next

This system auto fills in some settings that you may need to change

Change the Incoming (POP3) and Outgoing (SMTP) server to whatever your email provider has listed
Click Next
Choose if you want to leave a copy of messages on the server
Test the account to ensure everything is working
Click Finish.
To make changes such as specify port numbers, continue to making changes.
Making Changes to an already existing email account
To make changes to an already existing email account, choose Account properties from the Mailbox menu
In Personal
You can change your Name, your email address, and the email address you want listed as the address to reply to
In Mail Server
You can change Authentication for the outgoing mail server
Your mail servers for Incoming (POP3) and Outgoing (SMTP)
The email address and the email password
Click Setup to change authentication information
Click Setup to change authentication information
Click Advanced to change server port information
In Receive
You can choose to leave a copy of the message on the server
In Other POP3s
If you have multiple email accounts that you want to check, you can add them here
Extra feature in Fox Mail
Protect your email account if you leave it on at all times, but need to leave your computer
From the Mailbox menu, choose Account Access Password
Set the password and any time someone attempts to access anything in fox, they need to enter the password
Fox Mail allows you to set several kinds of spam and junk mail filters
These options are found in the Tools menu under anti-spam options

This is just where you set it up to use the rules
If you are not getting mail from a specific person, try adding them to the white list to ensure they are not getting blocked.
To create rules to use the rules filter
Choose Account Filter Manager from the Mailbox menu
To create a new rule, click new
Choose how you want to filter- by sender, text, subject etc.
Add the words / phrases to be filtered.
